You can become a bodybuilder as a vegetarian but it will require some effort.
First, (and most importantly) I would suggest that you find a good, high quality protein powder that would not contain any products that go against your religous beliefs. Presumably, as a body builder, you will need to keep your caloric intake in check and this would be the way to get the "cleanest" protein for the calorie.

Second - a good amino acid supplement and a good multi vitamin will help you to get the nutrients that you are missing by omitting animal products from your diet

Third - You can combine beans and rice or any legume with a complex carb to create a complete protein which is what you need to feed and build your muscles

Yaa! definately a person can become a body builder on vegetarian diet.it best diet, it keeps the man a real man.

in veg. we can have fruits, soyabean(it has more potein content as compare to meat),.drink lots of milk. even bananas are good during body building.

so if you don't like non-veg never go for it.secondly it will also reduce brutal killing of animals.

Your coach is wrong and his advice is misguiding. Exercise does not have to do any thing with veg or non-veg. you need veg protein and carb... you can take lot of milk, fresh fruits, salads and some dry fruits.

You do not require non-veg food at all

Ye, there are veggie bodybuilders. Soy protein (as much as it sucks) is what you're limited to. Unless your just not into EATING animals. Whey protein is better, but it contains eggs.

Workout and Rest are the two most important things. Then just get enough calories and see how you do

Yes you can; there is protein out there and lots and lots of products that you can try without stuffing a juicy medium rare piece of top sirloin in your mouth.

start yoga. do the 'Tribandh' process and you will see see your body built within two months. you will have to fetch a yoga teacher. just eat more when your apetite for food will be ignited.
