I've had a surgery recently where the general anesthesia was used. What makes me worried is that a week has passed already (since the surgery) and I am experiencing some memory problems that I have never had before. It's getting really annoying. Does anybody know if general anesthesia has any impact on memory?

I have night sweating, fatigue, and very poor sex drive and very tender and sore breasts.. I haven't used the pill in the last three years, but I had safe sex.this is recuring condition in the past three months.I went to the doctor and pap-smear came out good. What is the problem here?

I had minor surgery last week,and it was the first time(at age 41) I've ever needed any type of surgery,even though I have 4 children.Whew!I am so glad to be on the mend!

In general I posted a question a few weeks ago, I'm on birth control for my period (I've been on it about 8 years.) and for the past month I took them very correctly with expception of a few hours of having to take the pill at the same time on 1 or 2 occasions. Well, my period started 2 weeks early and lasted those whole two weeks I lost about 16 pounds because I never wanted to eat, the sound of food made me sick. My period ended a little sooner than it should of, now I want to eat everything, I can never get full. My boyfriend & I was having sex last night and as soon as he penetrated I felt as I had to pee and it happened about 3 times. I've also noticed when I'm driving or I ride with anything I feel confused and lightheaded and I was wondering if anyone else has had these feelings before? I don't think it's serious, but it could be. Input would be nice though. Thanks in advance. :)

I have shy bladder and I can't pee at a friends housee.This is my story the last time I tried ! I was at my friends 21 b-day party it was just me and him I am 22 and I told him I would come over and thro a little b-day party. Well of course we both got drunk ! He had 7 beers and I had about 4. Well when I tried to pee I couldn't pee at all I tried turning on the sink and I flused before i went and none of those worked.

Just returned to work after a very long 9-year absence very ill living with BP. These years were filled with black depression, a myriad of medications, too many ECT's and hospitalizations. But, finding a new pdoc changed things, and I am now on the correct medication to control the mood swings.
I just returned to work, full-time at that, and have this yearning to let loose and tell everyone of my illness. I just want them to know how far I have come and my accomplishment, and how down in the 'black hole' I really was. I also want them to understand of my slowness at times when new policies/procedures are introduced.
Realistically though, I think/know this would be a mistake. Why, I guess, it's the STIGMA of the general public who perceives mental illness as something it's not. So for now, I am still sort of wondering what I should do.

i was on the depo shot for six months and during those six month i ate some much! the depo shot makes you eat alot i know that. ive been off of the depo shot for three weeks now and i have noticed some strange changes in my eating habit. i am a small framed person so i dont gain weight easily before i would eat three full meals a day and in between eating to. now since i got off off of the shot i eat one full meal a day and maybe two meal one day out of a week and small snacking in between i dont have an feel like eating in the morning my urge to eat start after 4:00 in afternoon. once i eat that one full meal iam full for 4 or 5 hours and i snack the rest of the day. i am putting on alittle weight now so my question is i dont eat anymore like i use to why am i gainning weight and i dont really eat?

I am 13 years old and i really really want to lose weight but i have a slow metabolism (i think maybe its a fast metabolism) all i know is that its hard for me to lose weight so i dont know which metabolism i have. HIs dad owns a business and he works for him and of course he can leave whenever he wants he usually hangs out with a single friend and i go to school come home and clean and try to wait patiently till he gets home then he goes and works out the horses ect. Every saunday he goes to the horse races and i sometimes want to spend the whole day with him i just fear for his friend to call him cause i dont want him around>> is it just me?

Ok my nephew always talks to me before his mom or dad. He has had concerns about whats going on with him recently. Im 15 and hes 14. He only has one testicle (i dunno why) he says that whenever he masturbates, the onlything that comes out of his penis is a clear liquid and its sometimes sticky, he asked me if this is normal but told him that i dont experience that and that i ejaculate normally, hes really worried and i just wanted to check and see if everythings normal at his age.
