so theres this guy and like hes shy and all his friends say that he likes me but hes just to shy and if he wasnt he would ask me out or something but im kinda shy to just bluntly ask him out do i ask his friends? or what?

Be yourself and just ask him out for a soft drink or something. Being yourself is important.

See if his friends can arrange a double date, whereby they bring him along, and you become his date for the evening. If he is interested this is his chance to go forward with anything. It also gives you a chance to evaluate him, and see if he is all that you perceive him to be.
