Maybe it's zombies that you have a fear of their attacking you. Probably most people have had a fear of something or someone attacking them at one time or another. If you have been seeing or hearing the zombies then it's time to get some mental health help. If this is just a generalized fear then go ahead and make a generalized escape plan for any potential danger. Since Katrina many families have gone ahead and made specialized plans including escape routes, provision of 3 weeks of food and water, medical supplies, extra medications, blankets, radio, batteries, flashlights, cellphones, money, etc. By utilizing the old boy scout pledge of being prepared you can thereby reduce your ongoing anxiety about zombies attacking, stop the daydreaming, and begin to focus on reality in the here and now. By focussing on what needs to be accomplished in the present you won't have time to let your mind wander. When silly and disruptive thoughts enter your mind just release them immediately and say to yourself I'm in the middle of something else that's important right now and I'm getting back to it. Good luck to you.

You just have a good imagination. I have a plan for if I am ever a grackle (an obnoxious bird that mostly lives on Cheetos found in parking lots.) Weird? Yeah. Do I care? No. I just am glad that instead of thinking what cows think... nothing.... I can amuse myself with the absurd

Check with the Department of Homeland Security. I think they must have something up by now!!!

But seriously..... the source of your problem may not be the thought of zombies, but perseverating on thoughts or having anxiety. Look up some information on anxiety disorders and you may find other things you have in common.

In this day and age... I think it more wise than foolish!

Look what they do to our food and water... I honestly believe it is only a matter of time before once again... life immitates art and we have a real life incident concerning something likened to a zombie situation...

Im sure its not all that far off! Keep your plan!

My best friend is the same way. It is weird, yes. But you're not the only one. I suggest you pick up a copy of, "The Zombie Surivival Guide," by Max Brooks.

When you've located your cricket bat ("you've got red on you") and have Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" set on auto-repeat in your billiard room (and if those don't make sense, go out RIGHT NOW and rent "Shaun Of The Dead"), buy this book and read it. I keep mine next to my bed, under the Cold Steel kukri (they can't catch you if you cut their legs off):

Most zombies like to eat human brains. It doesn't sound like you have any, so I wouldn't worry.

If you keep worrying about it just call Freddy Krueger and Jason Vorhees and tell them you need the comfort of friends for the night.

I have a Zombie Combat Kit in my closet. I don't think it's weird. Everyone else does, so I know how you feel. :/
