I have a callous on both of my big toes. Is this due to my bunions? I am having bunion surgery on my right foot in December. Once that is healed I will have it on my left foot. How can I get rid of the callous? I've already gone through one bottle of callous remover that can be found in the foot section. I've also used a razor but haven't been able to remove it all. Help!

I'm 5'5, and I weigh 155lbs, I'd like to lose 20lbs. and I'm thinking of the fruitarian diet, where you only eat fruit, as much as you need, but only eat fruit...is the fruitarian diet safe and how much weight can you lose...?

It seems so smooth and undemanding; no muscle flexing, no pounding of heart. Perhaps it will not make you breathe hard. So what exactly do you get out of Tai Chi? Is it more of meditation? With some weeks of Tai Chi, will an unfit person become 'fit'? What should I expect, what should I not? And how come it is considered a martial art?

Our schools mascot is the warrior and our colors are red, black, and white. our homecoming parade is in 2 weeks and we have nothing. we have to have a float that goes along with HOSA. it can't be anything violent b/c it is high school.

Everything seems to come in either a pill or powder form. I was just curious is it possible to live off Vits and supplements without eating any really food. Like drink protein shakes and take 1aday vits or centruim. Or fish oil pills, vit c pills, etc, etc.
Is it possible?

I have been getting headaches every day at work for the past 2 weeks. Thinking it was the lighting, I installed a desk lamp - still the headaches. Maybe it was the monitor glare - but I have the glare screen.... I mentioned it to one of my friends and she said that she was having them too. I was then on a mission. I asked other co-workers and 9 out of 13 had the same symptoms that we have. We work in a corporate building that was built in the 70's. Although remodeled; the ceiling and most wallpaper is original... I'm thinking it could be toxic mold. I've done a bit of research on toxic mold and it's a good possibility; Anyone have an experience?

Let me clarify....I am awaiting an appointment with a Cardiologist aslo. The Echo was done by my PCP and they called and said it looked good but I should still see a cardiologist, so I am still waiting for that appointment. I just got the results faxed to me and because Im impatient I just wanted to see if anybody out there could read them and tell me if the results mean more than "it looked good".

Here is the brief summary of the results on the report:

Impression:
1. Normal left and right ventricular systolic function ejection fraction 62%
2. Mild mitral and mild tricuspid regurgitation noted
3. All valves physiologically noted
4. Normal distolic function of left ventrical noted
5. No mass effusion or thrombosis noted

It actually all sounds good to me except number 2, but even that may be ok???

I guess I will be on to my next test to try and figure out my "issue"

I have been diagnosed with ADHD by several doctors in the past, stating that I have moderate to severe ADHD. I have always done well in school, through the "brute force" study method and a good work ethic. However, I have always felt very spacy and can usually not remember the last movie I saw, what I had for breakfast, what I did yesterday...normal recent things that most people seem to retain.

I recently got put on Aterol (10mg 2-3 X/day). Holy Shittles!!! What a CRAZY difference. I can now blow through 40 pages of a test book, fall asleep, and retain much of what I read the night before. I can actually listen in class instead of just sit and stare at the girl's breasts next to me. I can now study for and hour or two without getting distracted every 15 minutes.

It seems like a miracle drug. The only side effects are: sweating, dry mouth, some shakes, slight anxiety, and sometimes it's hard to sleep. Are there any long term side effects I should be aware of?

well i woke up a few days with my ear clogged so i tried to unclog it by using my palm pressing on it like a suction but that only made it worse .... i gaved it a full feeling.... and it hurted.... so like two days later i went to the doctor and she said it seemed fine ... she could see wax buildup .. but just send me home with drops ..i used them but it only makes my ear stuffier its been like 5 days .. it feels somewhat unclogged but when i burp i hear a crackling popping noise... or when i eat it gest clogged like something or pressure is in there .... seems somewhat unclogged but know i can barely hear from it .... :( ,,, i tried drops blowing with ,my nose .. i dont know what else to do

I've been smoking ciggarettes since i was 13 and ill be 21 soon. My husband of over 2yrs hates when i smoke. I've been trying the patch its not too bad but it makes me dizzy and i get headaches. Do u think my husband is being too controlling on telling me to quit? and are there easier remedies to just stop?
