There's a very interesting book that will sure help u alot" how to have a smarter baby" but I can't remember the name of the author...any way , In this book , there are many things that you can do with your child starting from pregnancy to make him smarter as he grows up. I remember one of them is recording a tape with your voice and the father's voice using soothing sentences and calling the baby by a nick name. and u put the headphone on your abdomen for the baby to listen...you can also associate certain music with certain movements for example a certain baby song while sitting in a rocking chair....so later when the baby comes...when he hears the song he'll be calm.

Now, they feel the vibrations of your voice almost immediately. I was pregnant and asked the same thing. Later in the trimesters is when it is the most prominent. Put some classical music through a headphone up to your stomach for a soothing effect and a smart baby.

It can always hear you. From a very young age. Of course they have no proof but I had heard around 3 months they can hear. A baby is born knowing 85 words. So does a dog lol

It's probably a little early yet, but a developing baby absolutely can hear, also react to sound as you will soon find out.

Congrats!
