It is unclear if you are a young person who is masturbating and worried that doing this would effect your ability to have sex later on in life when you get married or if you are a married person wanting to know if masturbating would harm your marriage.

I have a very conservative viewpoint on this. Many will tell you that there is nothing wrong with M. I will tell you they are not being honest or they have lost touch with reality.

It is true that almost every male person participates in this activity. However not everyone does so. A large portion of persons do it very seldom and consider it a habit that can send them in wrong direcctions in life. It is true that Many who have had criminal problems relating to sexual problems have said that they got into a habit of masturbating often and using pornography to motivate them self and they feel it led them to a sex addictino that later on harmed their character and life.

there is a lot of truth to this. MAsturbation is somethign that most males and some females do as they mature sexually. If you have parents I want to encourage you to try to build a trusting relation ship with them and ask them about this.

One of the meaningful experiences of life is to help our teens age and young adult children to learn how to cope with things like this. Be honest and polite.

Masturbation is certainly a peasurable experience. Most persons will agree on that. It can start you off on a wonderful life with wholesome and meaningful experiences or it can become the source of nightmares and a terrible future. You are the person who will either be incahrge of it or it may be in charge of you. A sexual addictino is a problem. A teenager who is doing M and seems that they can not stop for the pleasure of it and the seeming control the der=sire to do so has on them is not a sex addict. BUt one wants to be acareful that the teen age hormone experience does not lead to that either.

M can be a way for release of stress under certin circumstances which could be helpful. It also can become an addiction. That is not helpful.

When you consider the conservative view Some say that When we are born or created God makes a special person to be our mate. This person will be the one with whom we satisfy our sexual desires. If we wait until we find that person and trust God that God loves us and cares about us conservatives believe we can have the best lives becasue of it. We can feel confident God has created a special sex and life partner for us. That person should be the person we have made a lifelong commitment to before we ever have sex with them. Then we should have sex with that person and that persons only for our life time. We should developpe this as a desire of our heart and mind and not any other ideas as the way to fufill ourselves in this way.

One reason for this is we know that each of us have many germs and different strands of germs in our private parts of our bodies. All the germs of this type came from our Father and Mother. They came from their family lines all the way back to our ancestors. When you only have sex with only one other person during your life time then the only germs added to the ones you have gotten from birth are those you get from your spouse.

All the germs in a mother's body get passed down to her children. She will have the germs that came from her parents and the ones that came from her husband's parents. If they only ever had sex with each other this is the way it would be. If they had sex with other persons before marriage then all those germs from those other persons family lines will also be germs anbd strands of germs that they pass along to their children. You can never get them out of your body or family line once you get them from having sex with another person.

Germs cause problems. Eventually they mutate and when too many different strains of germs get mixed together this increases the likely hood that some disease or other problem can harm one's decendents and future generations. We know that this is true. Germs mutate and they casue problems. New germs strands gettign together that were never were together before who knows what could happen. And who wants to find out. Not anyuone who lives their children ( even though their children are not born yet ) does not want to pass germs along to them that might casue genetic defects and other prtoblems for their decendents now do they? THe reason society promoted the idea of waiting until mariage until having sex and then only doing it with one partner for life was to try to limit the spread of these germs and the possiblity of future generations being harmed fro mthis. They were showing how much they loved their off spring ( Children and grandchildren for ever.)

Some would make fun of this idea but they have not taken time to consider it.

I sincerely beleive that God created you and that he created sex and the entire experience. One reason God didi this is to let you know how much he loves you. Certainly it feels terrific doesn't it? Focus on that future time when you shall satisfy those desires in a socially acceptable way which will give you no guilt or shame.

That idea that this is discusting is common to humans. yet there ar those who think that is a desoreable thing to do . Todayt in this liberal world many are trying to say to each their own as long as you stay in certain boundaries.
