Every month or two, I get these lumps come up around one of my ears. Usually the left one more than the right one. They come up on the lobe, at the front, or behind the ear. They start out small sometimes hard, sometimes mushy. They are sore and get bigger over about a week. When they get a certain size, I can sqeeze on them and they make a loud popping noise and drain out pus, blood and a clear oily substance. Then they go away and a month or two later, another one comes up somewhere different. I actually had one of these removed when I was 20, but I don't remember whatt it was. The dental hygientist I work with thought they might be sebasious cysts. I probably spelled that wrong. What do you think these could be?

last weekend I was terrified of collapsing, on a Saturday of course. I wrote a "statement" not a question, per say about ER's in general. I would like to apologize. I commend your desire to be in that profession in the first place, I always wanted to be a nurse...I just can't stand needles. Please accept my appology and thank you for being there, at all hours, everyday. (if you can't tell, I am less stressed and felling better now) My best to you. Diana

I work a job where I stand all the time for 8 hours a day , 5-6 days a week. Recently my foot has had some mild burning sensation to it, particularly at the top region, spread out, but I have been ignoring it. Tonight, as I got out of my car and stood up, I felt a very severe burning sensation, much worse than before on my foot in the same area...like something exploded in there...just wondering what it may be before I head to the doctors. Please don't tell me to go see the doc, because I will, I just want to see what it may be first. thanks.

My friend Christy says I should be nervous because she is going to grab the waistband of my underwear when I run by. What the hell does she mean by that? So she grabs it for a second, why should I be nervous about that?

I took a tablet of tylenol yesterday for my cold, and I'm just wondering if it actually messes up the birth control pills. I've heard that taking anti-biotics would really affect birth control pill and you need an alternate contraceptive; would tylenol be included as well?

I'm trying to take high fructose corn syrup out of my diet, but it is in virtually everything. Are there any good sites out there with information on foods processed without it? I'm having trouble finding something without carbonation tha has more flavor than water. I really know nothing about teas and have never been a tea drinker but I drink a lot throughout the day and I mainly need something to replace Sprite.
