Depends on how young you are. If you are having your period and you're really young, like somewhere between the ages of 10-14, then it's normal for you to skip a period or two or have irregular ones. Sometimes things like stress, medication, and rapid weight gain or loss can affect this as well. If you're older and suddenly your period stops, I would go to a doctor because that could be a sign of something more serious.

How old are you....? Perio menopause can start in mid to late 30's and cause heavy periods or none at all or at least it did for me

You might have a hormone imbalance. You might want to consider speaking with your OB/GYN to see if you do. It's a simple blood test. Nothing too major!

f u just recently started, then ur periods are probably still irrengular and havent set into a set cycle yet.
if uve had ur period for a while...then maybe u are just lucky....i dunno...
ask ur doctor maybe

are you in sports? ballet?
do you eat enough?
a low bmi can cause missed or stopped periods....
if this is not the case i would talk with your doctor.

highly athletic women will abnormal menstrual cycle...if your highly worried, consult your OB doc.
