i came from china and i always tell them about the things in china. and you can discuss interests together.

Be the first to introduce yourself. Look people in the eye,especially when THEY speak to you. Practice to listen to other people's point of view. See where they are coming from and support their ideas.
If you notice someone being the "wallflower" in the group,include this person in the group and ask their opinion on a certain subject. For every action,there's a reaction. It WILL come back to you.

the first thiing ANYONE looks for at a first meeting is EYE CONTACT. thats what will get you reconized. stading tall, and looking sure of yourself and what your saying and what you are there for. and smile too !

I crack my knuckles, stare at their ear when they are talking. Everytime they say something, I ask, "Really?" Also, people are attracted to me when I act superior and pretend to have hives. If you make them really uncomfortable, they are sure to remember you!
