Sometimes high blood pressure could be a sign of vitamin defficiency like deficiency in potassium, magnesium, and even calcium. Most condiments that you buy from the supermarkets contain too much sodium. High sodium intake contribute to elevated pressure level. Other culprits are cigarette smoking, stress, excessive use of stimulants such as coffee or tea.

Being vegetarian doesn't mean that you have balanced vitamins or nutrients in your body. Try to balance them out and you'd see the difference.

Very helpful:

- Vitamin C, E, and multivitamin and mineral complex with Vitamin's A and B (B3 & B6)
- Take Omega-3 & Flaxseed oil
- Eat plenty of bananas, yogurt, and add garlic into your diet
- Drink at least 8 oz of soy milk everyday (the best brand is Silk soy milk) and a glass of red wine at dinner time.
- Try to use balsamic vinegar with sesame seed oil and very little sea salt as salad dressing .

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

It could be because the kind of jobs available in your area are mostly of a sedentary type (have to sit a lot , lack of movement and exercising). Lack of exercising will raise your blood pressure. Maybe it will be a good option for your community to do a Community Walk Day where you meet at a certain place, close down the road, and do a 6 mile walk all together. This is fun and it will help! : )

Could be genetic in origin. Sometimes no matter what you do the blood pressure may not change. They have to get on the medication for it. Watch their salt and fat intake.

You need MEAT in your diet, it is natural to have lean meat in your diet. Your body is all out of wack and needs some amino acid inside of it. Vegitarians always look so pail like they are vampires, you need to do the natural thing and eat some delicious high protien meat. Peace
