I'm trying to take high fructose corn syrup out of my diet, but it is in virtually everything. Are there any good sites out there with information on foods processed without it? I'm having trouble finding something without carbonation tha has more flavor than water. I really know nothing about teas and have never been a tea drinker but I drink a lot throughout the day and I mainly need something to replace Sprite.

I replaced Sprite and Dr. Pepper with lightly sugar sweetened green tea, then after a few weeks, cut out the sugar altogether. You can do the same with any tea. Try on the diabetic websites for some more scientific suggestions.

You are right, almost everything has that corn syrup in it. Sprite Zero is a good choice. It has no corn syrup.

You can look for web sites, but you might not find as many as you would hope. The government (FDA) is pretty much in kahootz with the Soft drink companies and food companies and tries to keep such information from being readily available.

See Morgan Spurlock's "Supersize Me" documentary.

And keep on reading labels!

WHOA! Someone in America trying to take responsibility for his own health?!
What are you? Some kind of Commie? LOL!
Dude....all you can really do is check the ingredient labels on the foods you put in your cart.Nevermind websites. No website can tell you what you can find out by just looking at the labels.
You'll find yourself pushing an empty cart to the check-out aisle if you avoid every food with high-fructose-corn-syrup.I've tried it! You're right! That sh1t is in EVERYTHING!
Try to eat only foods that you cook yourself.Buy fresh vegetables and fruits.Look for pastas and breads that are "whole grain".They might have some HFCS in them, but they're better than the bleached, proccessed garbage.
The more "whole" foods you buy,the better your chances of not encountering the dreaded HFCS!
BTW.....F@#K soda alltogether....drink milk,water,home-made tea.

there's a partial list. They said there hasn't been a comprehensive list yet. Just avoid processed foods, and when you eat stuff out of a box or a can, just read labels. Fruits and veggies don't have HFCS.
