My mom has been fighting to get disability 2.5 years. I wrote our Senator and our situation in the beginning. He's been somewhat involved, mostly just informing us of up and coming court dates, etc...but we always had that information from the Social Security Admin. before...so it wasn't too much help.
She has already been before a judge twice, because her first judge died before we heard his decision. Anyway, today she got a letter in the mail that is from her Senator informing her that "according to the office of hearing and appeals, your claim is ready to be scheduled".
We are wondering what this means. We tried contacting her lawyer but he's out of the office for a while. It says her "claim is ready to be scheduled", so that can't mean that her courtdate is scheduled because we've already done that...twice! The letter is dated very recent, so we know it's not old or back logged mail. Can someone decipher that sentence?? Please!!!
