The most obvious is your pregnant. But my period has come late because I was stressed out and had a nasty cold. My friend doesn't get her period but she works out too much (she's a marathon runner but is average size and weight for her height). And another friend never gets her period because she doesn't eat very much (she's struggling with anorexia, she's a 5"8' and 108 lbs). Or you could be off because of missing birth control pills.

1. Changes in nutrition, if you've recently made some big change that affects what and when you eat that can make you miss.
2. Stress. An increased level of stress and worry can make you easily skip a period, it's happened to me several times, generally centering around finals.
3. Medication changes. If you've just started birth control of some sort or just switched you amy skip a period until your body fully adjusts to this change.
4. Pregnancy. I know it's an obvious one, but if there's no other reason for you skipping, you should take a test.

Typing too fast, not understanding proper punctuation, stuck period key, or simply being unaware that one was skipped. I've had this problem a lot in the past but slowing down your typing can generally correct it. I even took a typing course at a local school, the class was full but my teacher pulled a few strings and got me in.

Good luck.

There could be many factors for why you miss your period:
Stress
Diet
getting entirely too much excercise
Fibroids
Endometriosis
Various STDs

Only your doctor can determine that by running simple blood tests to rule out the serious and determine from there what can be done for treatment.

Pregancy is the main one

There are several medical disorders than can cause it as well

So can change in diet or moving to an environment that is mainly female, in which case your period will gradually move to be at the same time as the others.

1. pregnant (obviously)
2. unhealthy diet
3. birth control pill (makes it more predictable but may cause some weirdness at first)
4.if you just stopped taking the pill it may also mess up your cycle
5. specific meds can also make it unpredictable (anti-depressants, etc.)
6. good to see a gynocologist after 34 days days just to make sure everything is going well down there

my younger sister had that problem for years. her period is finally regular after 8 years. doctors never found out what the problem was physically, because her emotional stress (she had a HARD time in high school) was causing it. it wasnt until she went away to college that she got better.

Pregnancy is usually #1. Stress, or not ovulating that month. Menopause. Or it's just late and will come soon.
