I'm 16 years old, and sometimes I get these pains, it's only on the left side, around where my heart is. I get it if I laugh(exhaling) and when I breath in deeply. Is this something that I should be worried about?

Actually cardiac chest pain, occurs more often dead center of the chest, not on the left side. More likely it is the intercostal tissues between your lungs that hurt. They stretch and retract as you breathe deeply or expel air suddenly as in laughter. If you become short of breath at rest, nauseated, or the pain travels to your neck or down your left arm, see a doctor right away. Otherwise, I suspect the discomfort will pass over time. If it bothers you, make an appt and ask your doctor about it.

I normally get those kind of pains and the doctor says it is gas. Therefore, what u need to do is start eating properly, take some gas medicine and that should do the trick. If it doesn't see a doctor as this could be a sign of the medical condition, angina.

This sounds more like a muscle spasm. The chest pains you need to worry about the one WITH physical exercises.

Yeah, talk to your parents ASAP. Anything that has to do with your heart is extremely serious. Ask someone in real life, not on yahoo.. or else things could get worse.
