HOLY F*** PEOPLE ARE F***ING PARANOID!!!!!

just leave the toothbrush in a cup filled partly with Listerine when its not being used and change this Listerine every week or month or whatever the heck you want

haha i love these other suggestions

1) ultraviolet light (u would need "UVC" light to effectively clean it because a typical black light is only "UVA"

2) boiling it will work, but its time consuming to do that every single time just to use a toothbrush

3) hydrogen peroxide... is supposed to be deluded (further) before it is put in your mouth

i would suggest maybe mixing some hydrogen peroxide in with mostly Listerine, it would probably work quite well, and to all the people who said "him being gay doesn't change anything"... it does, it means he is more prone to certain diseases that can be transferred orally

although, basically, in the long run you wouldn't want to do that, it can be bad for your oral hygiene and your overall health

also, to the people who are so f***ing obsessed with being paranoid about bacteria, most bacteria aren't harmful to the human body, its just like eating a bunch of really tiny insects (worst analogy ever thank you)

Seems to me that you are wasting space with this question but, Sure, while you at it why don't you two share the same q-tip you clean your ears with and the same toilet paper you wiped you behind with. The mouth has more germs in it than the bottom of your shoes.O yeah you can also become H I V positive sharing things of that nature with people Still want to share toothbrushes? Of course you do!

It doesn't matter if he is gay or not. You never use another person's toothbrush. In fact, it is best that you only use one for no longer than a month or two and then throw it out. You can also soak it in hydrogen peroxide from time to time or use an ultraviolet unit.

Toothbrushes are cheap. Why would you want to risk getting a cold, or peridontal disease, or any thing else. Please note that being gay has nothing to do with my answer. Buy your own dam toothbrush. Maybe your gay friend doesn't want you to use his toothbrush, did you ever think of that?????????

Makes no difference re sexual orientation, it is NEVER ok to use someone else's toothbrushes. The human mouth is just about the most contaminated orafice on the human body - you're better off getting bit by a dog than a human. DO NOT DO IT!!!

Being gay doesn't have ANYTHING to do with it. Gay people have just as much of a chance of getting aids as straight people. If he was straight, you still might not want to use his toothbrush. He probably doesn't have aids, anyways.

Our toothbrushes are used to get rid of bacteria on our teeth. A toothbrush should be used by one person alone for that reason. You don't want to swap bacteria with anyone.
