2 things 1. What are some things that we should change to help him fet around easier and 2. he is kinda upset about it because " he can get around himself and we don't need to waste money on it" - how can i help him understand that this isn't a burden and help him accept the fact that he is paralyzed?

My told me that a big mis conception is that if you have a Thyroid Problem it causes you to gain weight or to have a hard time losing it. He said it wasn't true.
What do you think of that?
I have always thought it did make you gain wieght and make it hard to lose it. I guess I was thinking wrong the whole time.

I've been having problems with excessive ear wax. Well this is the first time where I am hearing some cracking noises in my right ear. It only happens once in awhile - the cracking sound. Is this normal? What's your suggestion? Thanks!

I am 15 and I get very bad menstrual cramps for 4 out of 6 days of my cycle. I dont know what to do. My mother says that she will take me to a gyno but I really dont want anyone looking down there. I want to go and get checked out to make sure I dont have endometriosis or something. I shave down there and I think that the gyno might think im weird for doing that, and my mother doesnt know. I am a virgin. Why does my period cramps hurt so bad? They are like a 8 out of 10. My mom has cysts on her ovaries and I am at risk for that. Please help!

I've had a history of having more than two kidney infections, when I was a kid and gastritis a year ago(I'm 21 now). Anyway I'm a coffee/pop drinker to keep alert because I'm always tired from my medications.(Not related to kidney stuff). So I made sure I got at least one bottle or one or two cups of water or gatorade/juice to prevent kidney stones. Suggestions?

Oh and when I drink caffeine I pee a lot and the urine is always light yellow to clear. Which is weird because I don't drink that much water.

I am 17 and 5,5 and weigh 112lbs. wear a size 0 in skinny jeans &I worry about my weight so much. i have a therapist ..my aunts getting me a nurtionist. i work out everday and run 6 miles every early moring with the cross country team. i want to weigh 108lbs before school starts. I feel so low in confidence b.c my mom is an alcohlic and has an eating disorder and i look up to her in a way b.c she is my mom. I like nicole richies figure and know that no guys think thats attrative but i do on me. My coller and back and chest bones show..and i like it..but i know its WRONG anf its ruining my life..what shud i do?

I am a very cheerful guy who likes to mix around with others. But several of my friends used to tell me that sometime I will behave strangely, like into another person they don't know. Scenarios will fade very fast whenever I tried to recall what had happened. I'm very confused, depressed and hurt sometimes when I heard others telling me inccidents that I don't remember to be involved, and got blamed very much... I told my family about this but they just said maybe I had mood swing etc. I admitted I do have a very tramatic inccident for 3 - 4 years when I was very young, when I'm not staying with my parents cos they are busy. Still now this story still frightened me alot. I'm very scare to face reality, everyone around me that I will do something to hurt them.. I don't remember things I had done.. please help me.....
