i just got braces july 16 and go in augest 16 to get them tighteneed and i am scared that it will hurt and i need some advice because i am afriad that it will hurt

My doc said that I'd have to get surgery on my knee after hyperextending it in gymnastics. He said if I couldnt walk on it before the end of summer that I would have to get it. Can anyone give me any advice on how to stop being nervous?? Can anyone help me get through it?? Its on Friday. Anything to do after??

My child has had a cough for months that hasn't responded to antibiotics, steroids, or allergy meds. I don't believe my family practitioner is providing appropriate care and would like to see a specialist but I'm not sure what type to contact. Do I need an interal medicine doc or a pediatric allergist or...??? The FP is beginning to suspect asthma at this point but my child is not wheezing or having difficulty w/physical activity or any of the other asthma symptoms, just a chronic cough.

you hear all about bird flu, yet nobody seems to know or be bothered by the fact that bacteria like staphylococcus and tuberculosis are becoming stronger and stronger and some are not even affected by our strongest antibiotics.
but on the other hand bird flu could cause a potentially HUGE epidemic and kill thousands.

It usually happens when I am on my period or if I have to go to the bathroom real bad and have to hold it cause there is not a bathroom around. It is usually bright red but when I am on by period it can be a little darker. Also sometimes when I am not on my period it is not in my poop it just comes out with it. What does this mean?

Polythelia (having extra nipples) occurs in as much as 5% of the population of some areas. And the nipples are often poorly formed, so they're not always obvious. It has a higher diagnosis rate in women because sometimes the only reason a woman knows she has one is that it starts trying to produce milk when she becomes pregnant!

So is there a definitive way for a male to tell without a biopsy?

I am at the moment 5'5" and wheigh 157 lbs. I want to wheigh between 105-110 lbs. I have the pontential if I set my heart to it.
I want to be this weight. I have small bones...I think. And, I don't eat healthy right now. I eat lots of cheeze sticks, and fast foods, and sodas, and treats, that I no I shouldn't be eating.
