5'5"??? I am editing here, You (DO NOT) likely<---I repeat- do not need to lose this 5 pounds...as a girl grows into an adult the weight does infact shift some, so although she remains the same size, her hips might be filling out, and breasts becoming larger, ect...if you are upset that you might have gained 5 pounds over the past year, ect...then consider the fact you are maturing-simple as that. You probably look much better with the new found five pounds and you do not even know it. Don't look at the scale..look in a mirror...sounds like you are a teen trying very hard to keep up with stigma around you..you will grow up and wonder, even wish you could weigh 115 pounds again..I promise you!

Do you drink regular soda (not diet)? Or sweet tea or any other sweetened drinks? If so, cut them all out. If you are a big drinker of soda or such this should help quite abit. Try drinking more water. This will also help flush out your system. Move around more, try to get in extra walking or some type of exercise. If you listen to music in your room, dance to it. That`s good exercise that won`t seem like exercise. Even small things like getting up to change the channel on the television instead of using the remote will help burn calories. Just think about it and you`ll come up with lots of little things you can do that can make a big impact.

you dont need to lose 5 pounds. I weigh 115 and im about 5'5. I dont think i need to lose weigh but i could use a work out to tone my body up and make it firm. Maybe you should work out to get firm instead of trying to lose weigh. your at a healthy weight for your height

Yes. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Sounds like you don't need to loose any weight.
At 115 lbs. you should look good girlie.Don't worry so much about your weight.I used to be skinny but I never realized it.Now I look at pictures of myself when I was 16 and ask myself "why did I think I was fat at that time?"
I wasn't and I wish I had realized then just how good looking I was.I was about 130lbs. then.
Now I'm 21yrs. old and after I had my son I
gained alot of weight. To be specific about 55lbs.Now I am obese and thats not my opinion.
Its a medical fact.I wish I had spent more time
enjoying my body when I was younger instead of thinking I wasn't good enough.I'm sure you are good looking and fit. Please take advantage of it while you are young.Ask someone, anyone
I bet they will all say the same,That you don't need to loose any weight and that you look good. Now go out there and show it off!!!

you're perfect just the way you are sweetie, you don't need to lose anymore weight. But, maybe redistributing it elsewhere, wouldn't hurt you.
Take Jazz or Ballet classes for the workouts that they can give you, it will help you get the cardio as well as work the muscle groups that will make you stunningly pretty.
A fringe benefit of taking a dance class, is that you will develope your body so that you will be less clumsy and more graceful.

Cut out junk food (if that is part of your eating) and be more active...take walks, bicycle, etc...try to workout 30 mins - 1 hr each day...drink LOTS of water to help flush out your system (make that your beverage with your meals instead of soda or tea or other caloric choices). You could lose those 5 lbs in 2 wks or less, easy (and not in an unhealthy way).
Good luck!

how tall are you?
that would really determine whether or not you SHOULD lose 5 lbs... 115 isn't very much weight.
and when does school start? how much time are we talking about?
the easiest way to lose weight is by cutting sugar out of your diet as much as you can. no more candy! replace all those sugary sodas and fruit juices and replace them with water or diet soda.
Just one can of coke has 140 Calories & 39 grams of sugar!

You weigh 115 and want to lose weight? Why? You say you want it before school starts. You're too young to be dieting, especially since you're only 14 or something.
