whatever they do to it, is sad. have you ever seen pictures of an aborted baby? the ones i have been shown where all in a trash can. repect the fetus people, whether it died on its own or was aborted on purpose, it was a living human being, no matter the stage of development. i believe it should be treated the same as when a person dies, proper handling and burial according to the wishes of the mother and/or family.

They give you a peice of paper to fill out, and they ask you if its ok if they use the fetus for science.

It really depends. Sometimes they are sent to a lab for testing, other times they are sent to medical schools to educate up and coming doctors. And like your first answer, sometimes they're just simply discarded with other medical waste. Best of luck to you.
