It usually happens when I am on my period or if I have to go to the bathroom real bad and have to hold it cause there is not a bathroom around. It is usually bright red but when I am on by period it can be a little darker. Also sometimes when I am not on my period it is not in my poop it just comes out with it. What does this mean?

You could have some small fissures (little tears) that bleed when you go to the bathroom. Or hemmoids.

If it happens a lot and is bothering you- you should see a doctor to rule out anything serious.

I have blood in my stool too when I have my period- that's normal unless there's a lot more blood than normal when you have your period. I used to have blood in my stool too when I didn't have my period- this scared me, so I went to the doctor. Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with me and it went away on its own. Just to be safe though, see your doctor especially if there's a lot of blood and it's really really dark when you're not on your period.

My sister in laws sister had that, it turns out she doesnt have enough iron in her blood, and she was anemic, and her stomach was lower that it should be.

You should get your iron level in your blood checked, i would be very very concerned, only bad stuff comes with blood in the stool.

It sounds like hemmorhoids. The best thing is to get checked out by a doctor. You want to rule out any chance of cancer. I wish you the best of luck.
