The normal temperature of the body is 36.9 centigrade (97.4 farenheit) but if I go to a country where the temperature is say 42 degrees I don't overheat and reach the same temperature as my surroundings. Sweating and increased circulation alone can't prevent me reaching the ambient temperature so what other factors are involved?

I was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago, and about 1 month ago, I began having ringing in my ears all the time, could it be caused by the diabetes, and is there any cure????

I smoke 7 to 8 times a day an im not gettin as hi as I used 2 when i first started smoking so can go thru some kind of qiuck detox so i can begin gettin hi like I did in the early days... I jus really love weed and no I don't have a problem that i'm willing 2 work on... IT'S NOT A ADDICTION IT'S A WAY OF LIFE!!!

Our daughter aged 8 weeks has a cavernous haemangioma which is a cluster of blood vessels beneath the surface of the skin which looks like a raised purplish lump (on her head).

Does anyone else have a child with this type of birthmark as we would like to know how big it is likely to get and when it will stop growing and start to recede. Has anyone had treatment? At what age would it be gone on its own?

I do NOT have cold sores! I have never had them! I do get a sore, red throat and red dots on the back of my throat when I have an "outbreak." My doc isn't sure what I have. He's still testing. Im depresed. I dont know what to do. I have recently and through out my whole life been through alot.I just had my b/f brake up with me then meet another guy who only has one thing on his mind. scheduled for Colonscopy. Dr. had me lie back & he pulled down my pants & felt all over my belly WITHOUT a nurse or anyone in the room; i got to thinking AFTER arrived Home-- Does Male Doc supposed to have female present in Room when he did THAT? OR IS IT supposed to be only WHEN doing pap-smear, or/etc.?

Ever since I saw Super-Size Me and read Fast Food Nation 1.5 to 2 years ago, I have not touched fast food (defined as mcdonalds, burger king, etc). I eat pretty healthy; fruits and veggies and meat; all pretty balanced. Today I decided what the heck and had one plain pancake and english muffin (all plain nothing on it) and 2 bites of a hash brown from mcdonalds. Within 15 minutes I felt a pressure in my chest and my intestines felt like it was twisting itself on spikes. I spent half an hour in the bathroom having diarrhea. The people I shared the food with were completely fine so I ruled out food poisoning.

nearly 3 wks. ago had bleeding from anus only half-of ---one day; not seen any more since. My 2 different Doc's says everyone needs Colonscopy after age 50. i'm in mid 50's. i had fissures OR was told so-by a Dr. 20 yrs ago. (Not seen any bleeding in many yrs. (I was constipated one AM - then at 7pm that evening---started passing blood; felt like diarhea--THEN --but would only be blood & it was every 2 or 3 hrs - yet felt like diarrhea every incident; THE BLEEDING COMPLETLY STOPPED EARLY NEXT MORN. ---then I had big stool that looked real dark --like it could have been dark DRIED ? BLOOD BUT I NOT SURE. - J--ONLY ONE OCCASION of constipation since then - nearly 3 weeks. I want to back out of having Colonscopy, but then what if the bleeding re-curs---then i'm afraid the Specialist would not SEE me again ? Can't i have my stools checked for occult blood (blood in stools) WITHOUT HAVING a Colonscopy.---since i've not seen any more blood in bout 3 wks-COMMENTS?
