You may not be eating right.
If you have no thyroid problem, then eating food with more nutrients should be beneficial to gaining weight.
Start easy with drinking fresh fruit and vegetable juice. Start with a few leaves of celery, a mdium size carrot, and a teaspoon honey into a blender to make a nice cup of smoothie 16 fluid ounce size. Take it half an hour before meals, twice a day.
For breakfast, try a smoothie of one ripe banana, one teaspoon honey, carrot, scraping of a few grains of nutmeg, yoghurt, and skimmed milk to your taste. Give it a trial for a month to watch for any gradual weight gain.
Adjustments in other areas are just as inportant. Give yourself a little more sleep. Make sure you go for a walk at least once after meal to make a difference to the metabolism in you. Excercise in some form to perspire, and more plain water intake.
They are simple to follow steps for weight improvement for anyone. No special aphrodisac, more diary products or eggs. You can stay lean with a modest weight gain over time.

Well, first of all, if you have checked your BMI and you are actually underweight according to that, and you are now losing weight rapidly, you should see your doctor. If you aren't losing weight rapidly and are just experiencing some fluctuation, then you're probably okay. If you'd like to gain weight, the obvious way to do so is to consume more calories during the day than you output during activities. But it is rather hard to know how your body consumes calories without knowing about your metabolism levels. If you are worried about your weight, the only way for you to help yourself is to go see a doctor. Good luck!

I doubt it's anything serious...probably just a change in metabolism. Try eating peanut butter. it has tons of protein and will help you gain weight. And also, eat other foods high in protein, but low in fat...you want to gain muscle, not fat.
If you continue to lose weight, you should go to a doctor, it COULD be a thyroid problem...or you could just not be eating right. Either way, the doctor can help.

First go to a doctor, he is the only one who can tell you if there is something wrong.
Second, don't eat fast food, not only you are going to get fat but your going to be unhealthy.
Third, try drinking Boost or Ensure; it will make you gain weight safely; i did it that way.
And fourth, i know a lot of ppl who are pencil thin and are healthier than i am; and i'm at a healthy weight.
Anyways, if you r concern go to the doctor, he is the ONLY ONE that can now what to do.
