My husband had tinnitus and then i read somewhere that if you take 400 mg vitamin E it could help it .
Well he took it and it went away - and he stop taking it and it returned - soo again he took the vitamin E and he said it lessened the ringing but it was in the background - finally after taking the vitamin e for 2 years it is finally gone-

the tinnitus is not from diabetes but it could be due to high blood pressure and stress or even allergies

good luck

I don't think it has any relationship with diabetes.

I had this problem of ear ringing since some 30 years ago. I have not got this problem solved yet. I had it during my army training days where I had to oversee 200 of my unit men doing live firing. At that time we were not given ear-plugs.

Is the ringing consistent or does it come and go each and every now and then? If that's consistent ringing or whistling or buzzing 24/7 at a consistent volume then it feels like tinnitus - I extremely have it. led to both by technique of harm (in my case, i'm a valid engineer) or by technique of age. regrettably that's incurable, notwithstanding it shouldn't get any worse and also you do get used to it by the years. If it receives extremely intrusive at nighttime or at the same time as that's quiet, you are able to attempt a ticking clock or a radio on quietly to interrupt it up slightly. (it is what I do.) If that's not consistent then it may well be both wax buildup it is actual rectified or basically your aural nerves firing off in certain circumstances, it is commonplace. Please be conscious i'm not a qualified clinical professional, yet it is what I undergo in innovations after I went to my GP with a similar difficulty. desire this helps, and sturdy luck.

Ringing of noise is not connected with Diabetes. If the underlying cause is determined, then fixing that problem may take away your tinnitus (for example, removal of ear wax). Otherwise, measures to help you lessen or live with the noises are taken. Consult an ENT Specialist.
Please see the webpages for more details on Ear noises or buzzing and Tinnitis.
