Actually, it's hygenically a good thing to shave or just simply to trim your armpits - this is because bacteria grow on your armpit hairs, and decompose your naturally sweat chemicals into that gross body odor that you smell. Notice how deordorant ads say "strong enough for a man but gentle enough for women." It's because women have shaved and dont have the strong body odor that men's armpit hair provides. I simply just trim down to about 1/4 inch. That way, I dont have to deal with cuts on my skin ("gentle enough for women"), yet there's not much space for bacteria to live - plus i still feel masculine by not shaving all the way.

No its not, unless your allergic to the shaving lotion or cream u use. Just put some moisturiser under you arms after you have shavd them, that will prevent any rash or skin problems.

its not bad for you as long as you shave in the same direction all the time , dont change directions while shaving and you'll be fine, otherwise it can cause bumps and irritation.

i think waxing is best since u will only do this once in every 3 weeks. growing hair is finer than that of shaving....
