WITHOUT a prescription for anything or seeing a doctor? Are there any over-the-counter treatments? Can I burn them off myself somehow? Can I just pick them off with a pin or something? I'm serious.

For a while now, I've been getting extreme stomach pains along with feeling numb in my hands and feet, feeling faint and actually fainting, being extremely tired, and drinking all the time. My mom was conserned about diabetes, because it runs in our family. She used a self-check glucose machine right after I woke up, and the blood sugar was 197. When I went to the doctor, he told me that was a normal reading, and the different symptoms are just a coincidense. He diagnosed me with irritable bowel syndrome, and sent me on my way. I researched IBS when I got home, and I have none of those symptoms. Are the symptoms and the 197 glucose level something to be conserned about? Or am I overreacting, and my doctors probably right?

By the way,
I am a 15 year old girl; 5'6ish and I weigh 135-140.

Hi, I recently developed what appears to be a common cold and a sore (possibly strep) throat. The symptoms came up the day after I was cooling off near my airconditioner and then drank a large slurpee. It started as a discomfort in the throat and then yesterday I had a mild fever, stuffed/runny nose, and pain while swallowing. Today, the fever dropped off a little bit but I'm still experiencing runny nose and a sore throat.

Now this is what I'm worried about:
I looked at the roof of my mouth (palate) in the mirror this morning and discovered a kind of reddish lesion patch right on my soft palate, and in the middle is a small purple-colored solid spot on the central lining of the soft palate. All completely painless.
I kinda had this purple spot for a while but ignored it. Also worth noting, the roof of my mouth is not a healthy-pink. its light-pale colored behind my upper teeth, and a yellowish color near the back of the mouth.

Is this at all normal?

I've been told by a number of people (including my Doc who is a 3rd lvl reiki practitioner and a D.O.) that I should look into getting someone to teach me reiki -

My friend sent this to me and it freaks me out. It's pretty scary that this type of cancer cannot be detected by a mamogram and most women would just think they had a rash or a bug bite. It kills almost everyone who gets it because they don't know until it's too late. I tried to attach the video link but it wont work. This is my second summer in Virginia and I didnt have this problem last year but for the past month I have been getting insect bites on different spots in my body, they get swollen, red and itchy...the last one though has scared me, it's on my arm and it grew bigger and bigger yesterday ..now it's as big as half-avocado (it really looks like one too as it's oval) it's red and aches!!! Itches very little! I kinda have a high tolerance for pain but it's being scary

I posted an earlier question asking if anyone had a child with OSA, I never got a reasponse so now I have another queastion. I took my daughter to her primary care (this is the first time he has seen her). I told him I was concerend with the syptoms she has and he brushed it off, like it was no big deal. he took 5 mins to look her over and dismissed us.
