I posted an earlier question asking if anyone had a child with OSA, I never got a reasponse so now I have another queastion. I took my daughter to her primary care (this is the first time he has seen her). I told him I was concerend with the syptoms she has and he brushed it off, like it was no big deal. he took 5 mins to look her over and dismissed us. Do you think I should hound him aout it or find a new doctor?

Two of my children had OSA. It was resolved when an ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat doctor) removed their tonsils and aednoids.

If your insurance requires referrals to see specialists, talk to your pediatrian about referring your child to an ENT or sleep specialist for a second (or third) opinion.

Take her to a sleep specialists if you are really worried. Have them do a sleep study on her to see what is going on.
