They don't really hurt. It hurts for a lot of people because they go in there thinking it will and then they tense up for what they think will be this "painful procedure". Being tense is what makes it hurt. If u have ever stretched your leg when the muscle was tight, it hurts right? Same thing when the muscle is poked with a needle. It will hurt if the muscle is tight. I had a tetanus shot not too long ago and I didn't feel a thing. It wasn't even sore afterwards.
Just don't work yourself up over it, go in relaxed and it shouldn't hurt.

while getting the shot u dont feel much but about 3-4 hours later ur arm will be a bit sore...i got mine monday it wasnt that bad like my mom was talking to me so u never really feel the needle go in but afterwards i give it a 6 or 7 on the pain scale

it'll hurt like a 6 for a second you'll be a little sore for a day or two but thats the only part that hurts...just dont look at the needle thats what i do

They just feel like a normal shot, well mine did but they can affect different people very differently, so I really don't think you have anything to worry about, good luck though!

depends on your pain tolerance. just don't look at the needle. they make it quick so you can't tell. when i got mine, i barely noticed a prick from the needle. i'd rate it at a 1 for me. but i have a high pain tolerance. i wouldn't worry about it.
