I have serious, i'm sure muscular pain over my whole back but particulaly on the upper half of my back, between my shoulder blades. It's been comming slowly for a few weeks now, then on Monday i massaged it and that's whats set it off, i've tried stretching, massaging etc. (first thing in the morning it not too bad, but gets rapidly worse)
Any solution to alleviate the pain?
I'm already taking ibuprofen and paracetamol (together) but it's not alleviating it enough to make me comfortable. There's no point in going to the doctor because at my doctors there is a 6-8 week waiting list, (also their not very good), i go on holiday in a weeks time.
I just need something to alleviate the pain. It's really driving me mad.

I'm 5'3" and was 132lbs before I started my diet. I'm trying to lose 10lbs using this plan: I'm drinking 8 cups of water per day,doing 30 min of cardio, 30 min muscle building/stretching, and eating about 1200 calories. I gained 3lbs in 3 days. When will I start losing the weight? And is it the water that's causing me to gain?

Why is it so hard to just do one. I need to lose 30 pounds. I hate being overweight. I just turned 30 and there is no reason why I should be fat. It seem like the weight never comes off fast enough to be satisfied with one program.

I'm 16 and sometimes, if im sitting or lying down watching tv or something, or even if im just walking around and turn my head, not quickly or anything, just turn it. My hand, fingers and thumb are all very swollen. I am taking 800mg Ibuprofen for this (doesn't seem to be working). I am wearing a Futoro sling (not too tight). My physical therapy starts next week. are there any excercises for my hand that I can start now? Can't bend my thumb and forefinger because it hurts, should I try bending it with the other hand? How long will it take to be able to use my hand again? I thought getting the cast off would be the end of my troubles.

I was at the movies last night and while I was at the sink, a guy walks out of a stall and straight out of the bathroom, bypassing the sink entirely.

I admit that I am a bit obsessive about hand washing. Still. I see this often and I am always completely disgusted. The guy is now going to shake hands with people, hug his girlfriend, stick his hands in the popcorn... uuugggh.

To those who relate to the guy leaving the stall: How hard is it to just wash your hands, people? C'mon. In the name of sanitation, and sanity, please wash your hands.

I am 23, been 6 mnths since married. We dont wnt a baby before 2 years. I was diagonsed with PCOD last yr in August in my home country Pakistan. Before that I had been takin Diane 35 to improve my hormone levels (as well as a contraceptive) but it only helped in making periods regular, it didnt decrease my hair on body. My doc in Dubai(UAE, where I live) has prescribed me Glucophage which I am about to start in a few days. Will I be able to get pregnant after 2 yrs? I am worried sick becus of this. I have hidden this frm my husband bcus I am sure then he wud want me to get preg immediatetly, naturally because he would think I would anyway take time in conceiving, better start now! What do I do. I feel so depressed and weak. I love eating and weight 68 Kgs, height 5'5. I am young, I am not ready for a baby but at the same time, I worried if I delay having a baby, I might suffer like other people tryin since 4-5 years. Currently Im taking Yasmin( contraceptive pill) is it ok4me? HELP

I've started getting warts on one of my hands, it started with one, then I got it removed by a dermatologist, that one has come back and I have about 6 more that are small but there growing, I've tried using the wart remover pads, but they dont really work. I'm away from home and I dont have a dermatologist locally, what are some ways that I can remove them other than the pad/dermatologist??

My husband has, what he calls, a "smell" in his nose. He said it's like dried blood. Been there for over 5 years now. Has had all tests from MRI, CAT, to colonoscopy. Sinus Doc can't find a problem either. Is there anyone who has this problem. We have run out of avenues. Only serious answers, please.

I never got the bulls eye rash which is why I was so stunned to find out that I had this disease. The doctor told me some people do not get the rash. I went to the doctor because I thought my thyroid disease had returned and that is when she had me go for a blood test for the Lymes disease and actually did a full blood workup to make sure everything else in my body was okay, which it turned out was all fine, thank goodness. Thanks for all your replies and help with this. I am really worried about having this, and I am supposed to go to Florida next week for a few days to visit my elderly parents. I hope I am somewhat feeling better so I can still go.
