I have serious, i'm sure muscular pain over my whole back but particulaly on the upper half of my back, between my shoulder blades. It's been comming slowly for a few weeks now, then on Monday i massaged it and that's whats set it off, i've tried stretching, massaging etc. (first thing in the morning it not too bad, but gets rapidly worse)
Any solution to alleviate the pain?
I'm already taking ibuprofen and paracetamol (together) but it's not alleviating it enough to make me comfortable. There's no point in going to the doctor because at my doctors there is a 6-8 week waiting list, (also their not very good), i go on holiday in a weeks time.
I just need something to alleviate the pain. It's really driving me mad.

I would try some acupuncture. It has been very effective in the past against chronic pain such as yours and is able to offer reliefe when others can't. I'm a medical student in texas and actually one of my attendings does acupuncture for some of his patients and says it has really helped them. You can expect the results to last for about 6 months. You should probably be able to get in sooner than if you were to go see your doctor - I can tell you that the doctor will probably give you a stronger anti-inflammatory and probably refer you to pain management if not just give you some lortab

What is it from?

Car wreck ... over working out ... sleeping in funny positions ???

Car wreck then see a chiropractor.

Over working out ... Advil every 4-6 hours ... Drink 1/2 Gallon to Gallon of water daily ... avoid salty food ... avoid sweats ... eats 8-10 servings of vegetables a day ... and try YOGA.

Sleeping in funny positions ... get a better bed and stop acting goofy
