I have been single for pretty much all my adult life. Although I have had several very brief relationships (6 weeks was my all time reccord) I have never had proper adult relationship. I was in love once a long time ago but that went very badly wrong and left me with a lot of terrible psychological problems it took me several years to sort out.
Over the last 5 years I have gradually accepted that I will always be single and will never find love. It was this realisation which gave me the strength to end years of severe alcoholism as I realised that alcohol had become a substitute for love and I didn't need it anymore.
And for so long now I have been so content knowing that I would be alone no matter what I did and so would never need to go out again and fail in another attempt to find someone to be with.
But yesterday I was walking along and went passed a school and realised that a very important part of me really does want to be with someone and have kids. What should I do?

I am on my second round of antibiotics to treat a UTI. I can urinate but never feel that I actually empty my bladder when I go. Today is day 4 on the new round of antibiotics... is this normal???? I am totally consumed by this and it's driving me nuts.
And yes I have been drinking cranberry juice and water like it's going out of style.

My husband had been addicted to perocet and fentynol suckers. He went to rehab and detoxed but left before his treatment was over. The same day he got home, he went to the same doc that gave him the meds and got on Methadone. He didn't tell his doc that he had went to rehab and detoxed off of it. He has since started going back to previous behaviors, lying, hiding things, etc. I have suggested that he go back into treatment but he got very angry. Is it usual for someone that has detoxed off of narcotics to go right to using Methadone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In Jan. 2005, I was in a head-on collision deemed the fault of the other driver. They have $20,000 injury insurance and my medical bills to date total slightly more than that. I have until Jan. 21, 2007 to settle or file a lawsuit. I am still in pain after several months of physical therapy and one surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome. I've had all kinds of tests done, and the only thing anyone can come up with is TOS. The surgery fixed the tingling on the side I had done, but now my hand gets cold and my shoulder and neck hurt when I use them a lot or stand for any longer than 15-20 minutes. I don't want to do the other side because the side I had done has some adverse side effects. Is the pain ever going to go away? What's my next step? Do I talk to more doctors or do I accept that I may hurt forever? Is future pain worth anything in a lawsuit? Is it worth hiring a lawyer or should I try to negotiate a settlement myself? Anyone have good results with alternative medicine?

They look like ringworm, but only one was curved shape. The first time they showed up after I jumped into an untreated swimming pool. A month later, one showed up next to an old one. They show up over night and disappear a day or two later.
The doctor says I have folliculitus, but I disagree becuase I have no hair where the blister shows up. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I've got?

I am emotionaly and physically attracted to my boyfriend, yet whenever i get turned on, it will go away in a few minutes. Like, we will be making out and I will be turned on, then 3 seconds later it will go away.. then 5 minutes later I will get turned on again. Its like a roller coaster.. It doesn't happen all the time, but some.
