I am always myself. It takes far less energy this way.

No masks, no social fronts, no games. I take that back, games when everyone involved knows that it is a game.

Honesty and openness are the best way to keep relationships happy. If you have to "act" your way through life, do so professionally, at least you'll make more money if you are any good at it.

Most of the time, I do not care what others think about me. Sometimes I care how they feel about me.

The key to being oneself is to learn to express your emotions as clearly as possible. Do not keep them in; do not ignore them.

Wow, I was going to get on here and talk about how I am always myself and why. Then I read Richards answer. Very well put Richard. I couldnt have said it better.

Yep, same here...reading Richard's answer just made me think, "Damn, no matter what I say now, it won't be as eloquent or succinct as Richard's" Phooey on you Richard... give the rest of us a chance man!
