i want to give up meat but i don't think i can... also when ur a vegetarian can u eat shrimp alot of my friend say u can and some say u can't

Dishes where I can add meat after I set aside portions that are meatless and yet a meal that will satisfy the vegetarians like myelf.

I am so tired of cooking seperate meals or cleaning up extra pots and pans.

If vegetarians OR meat eaters persecute people who eat differently than they do, it's all wrong. Eat the way you want. It's no one's business how anyone else eats.
If people are loud mouths and try to preach at / bug / influence others to eat like they do, that's all wrong, too.

Everyone should eat the way they want. Don't answer questions in this section if you are not into vegetarianism. Eat whatever, It's your right to do so.

Ok , I know that tofu and soy are alike...or actually doesn't tofu come from soy beans?
Does soy chicken and burgers taste different from tofu? What is the difference exactly? Is it the same thing?

As for all you vegans out there, what is up with this you shouldn't torture living creatures and eat them...Hello, plants are living things! Don't you think they have emotions and feel pain too!? Aren't you torturing that plant or tree when you pick it's fruit!? You care about all the little animals but have no problem torturing the living plant life.

Explain to me logically how eating meat is wrong.?

Humans are omnivores. If you deny that, then don't even answer the question. Millions of other carnivores and omnivores across the planet eat meat. How is it wrong for us to do so? How is eating meat cruel, when some animals are predators and others are prey. Do you not realize how cruel and heartless nature is?

And I'm not looking for answers like, "Well...I saw this video on PETA.com...and a girlfriend of mine told me how much healthier being a vegetarian is...and aren't little rabbits so cute?" I want reason, not emotion.

I just recently became a vegetarian due to a change of heart after reading the Peta website. I told my boyfriend. He is not happy at all about my change. He watched a video with me to try to understand why I have decided not to eat meat. At first he made fun of it. Then he tried to deny it. Today he told me that he wish I did not become a vegetarian because we can't eat the same things. Before this, my diet was unhealty anyway. So, besides the main reason that I am doing this, it is a change for the better. Has any one dealt with this before?
