I became vegetarian because I never liked the taste of meat. Growing up, I'd always pick the meat out of my meals---it irritated my parents!
So, I've been a vegetarian for 12 years now.

There are so many reasons. If you are interested in learning about veganism, I suggest you read The Food Revolution by John Robbins. It is a great resource for showing how veganism is better for the environment, the animals, and our health.

properly I cherished the style of maximum meat, to boot pork-- hated that. yet I became a vegetarian because of the fact of ways the animals are taken care of in farms and how they are slaughtered, and as quickly as I examine up on how spectacular they are. i did not do it to shed extra pounds, yet after some months of being vegetarian i've got lost lots for a fourteen year previous (i'm nevertheless completely healthful nevertheless). i've got faith the main motives human beings circulate vegetarian are as follows, so as of the main undemanding motives to the least: -animal cruelty -wellbeing -atmosphere -dislike of meat's style -weight relief and that's all i've got have been given for you. My motives are the 1st 2 interior the hyperlink decrease than :]

Vegans are not "vegetarians", they are vegans! Your question is akin to asking Mormons why they worship the Pope!

I never liked the smell and the taste of meat. I pity the animals too, so why kill them for my food? I can live without meat just perfect. I feel more in harmony this way too.
