Cut the Tofu in to slices that are about 6mm thick. Take a dry towel and gently dab. This dry's it off a bit. Heat a no stick pan with a little Olive oil. Flavor with a mix spice or a bit of chilly oil. Pan fry till they are done. There are many ways that you can cook tofu. Just use a bit of imagination and with a little luck you can come up with any thing. Enjoy your tofu. I cook it every night.

I make it like this sometimes:

Crunchy Fried Tofu

1. Cut tofu into triangles or squares about 1 inch thick
2. Marinade in soy sauce or terraiki sauce for at least 15 min
3. In a shallow bowl mix 1/2 cup cornmeal and a little cayenne pepper
4. Heat oil in a skillet. Dip tofu in the cornmeal mixture, then fry it for 3 minutes on both sides.

Serve with stir-fried veggies over rice.
Yum!

Cut the tofu block in half, the same way you'd cut a hamburger bun. Place the slices in a flat surface with plenty of paper towels on top and underneath. Place something like a cookie sheet on top and a couple pots. Let it sit for a few hours or overnight and the excess water will get squeezed out. Then it will fry much crispier!

Tofu Parmigiana:
Ingredients
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
5 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons dried oregano, divided
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 (12 ounce) package firm tofu
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 clove garlic, minced
4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Slice tofu into 1/4 inch thick slices, and place in bowl of cold water. One at a time, press tofu slices into crumb mixture, turning to coat all sides.
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Cook tofu slices until crisp on one side. Drizzle with a bit more olive oil, turn, and brown on the other side.
Combine tomato sauce, basil, garlic, and remaining oregano. Place a thin layer of sauce in an 8 inch square baking pan. Arrange tofu slices in the pan. Spoon remaining sauce over tofu. Top with shredded mozzarella and remaining 3 tablespoons Parmesan.
Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
