What can I do with a can of black beans that will be quick but tasty. Soups, dips, etc?

The fewer ingredients the better. But I like spicy foods!

I am having a family gathering in about a week and a half. I am planning on making tiramisu, cannoli, and biscotti ( 4 varities). How far in advance can I start making the biscott? Is it too soon. My gathering in on the 16th of Dec. I will be storing them in cookie tins.

I would like a HOME MADE(nothing that calls for a box of cake mix) Mint Chocolate Cake/Cupcake recipe. I would like the cake and the frosting to both have a mint flavor. And I want to only use one type of mint: peppermint or green mint. I haven't found anything good online.
Any recipes or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I was just wondering what other meals I could make with the crock pot....seems like I only use it for stew, chili, or pot roast for a meals. What suggestions do you have?

I took a steak out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge and when it was thawed I seasoned it and set ti in the micrwave this was at about 6pm and I forgot it until the next morning at about 7am and then I put it in the frigde. I was planning on cooking it tonight and I am wondering if it could have went bad in that amount of time. Please let me now so I dont get sick, Thanks.

Making dinner for family, and some of them cannot have potatoes, peppers or tomatoes...............what are some good side dishes I can make that'd go with a roast..........a starch and a veggie, preferably.............or name some good side dishes to go with grilled chicken that dont contain any of the above mentioned items.
