This one is easy and versatile:

3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 ozs) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Just melt your chips on the stove over very low heat with the condensed milk, and salt. When melted, add your vanilla. If you like nuts, add 1 cup chopped walnuts.
You could try making it Rocky road by stirring in 1 cup mini marshmallows when the fudge cools for a minute.
Toasted coconut also tastes great.
Then just spread in a greased 8"x8" pan, chill 2 hours and turn onto a board and cut into squares.

Microwave Fudge Recipe

Ingredients
1 lb confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1/4 lb butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions

1. Lightly grease an 8-inch square dish. Set aside.

2. Place confectioners' sugar and cocoa in a medium-sized,
heat-resistant, non-metallic mixing bowl. Stir to combine.

3. Add milk and butter to sugar-cocoa mixture. DO NOT STIR (I was
told to make a little well in the sugar stuff and then putting the
butter and milk in the well, and I'm surprised to find it doesn't say
that in the recipe...)

4. Heat, uncovered, on FULL POWER 2 minutes.

5. After cooking, stir just to combine ingredients.

6. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir until blended.

7. Pour into prepared dish and refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting
and serving.

Valerie's Note: Serve fudge squares with a big bowl of hot buttered
popcorn, turn on a good movie and nestle in with that special
someone....

Irish Crème Fudge

I also use other liqueurs in place of the Irish Creme such as Kahlua, bandy, Kirsch, spiced/flavored rum and the new flavors of Kahlua mixing and matching nuts, coconut and dried fruits to match the liqueurs.

3 sticks of butter (3/4 pound)
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 7-ounce jar Kraft marshmallow crème
12 ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 bottle (airline size or nip) or 1 shot Irish Crème
2 cups walnuts or pecans - optional
2 8-inch square pans sprayed with non-stick spray

In a heavy 3 quart sauce pan - I prefer an enameled cast iron -melt butter, sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil, turn down heat to a low boil and cook for 5 minutes.

Turn off heat and mix in marshmallow crème. Once that is incorporated, mix in the chocolate chips until mixture is an even chocolate color then add the Irish crème and nuts, mixing thoroughly.

Pour mixture into pans and cool thoroughly before cutting into squares and serving.

You know, people say if it taste good but it all depends on your taste bud. I mean, yeah I like chocolate fudge but I like blueberry pop tarts more. Therefore don't ask this question for advice when the best advice comes from your taste buds. And if you're not sure, buy one pack, eat a bite, and if you don't like it, throw it away or contain it and give it to your friend within 1 ~ 2 days.
