So half way between the process of holiday cookies, I realize I'm out of vanilla. This brings the process to a screeching halt, and needless to say, I'm p-oed. I've searched the web for subsititution ideas, but have found nothing except 'rum'. Would coconut rum work? It's all the liquer we have at the moment, and the car's with my mother. How much should I use?

Ok do I like to make stuff in the microwave ( i know I am lazy ). But I am running out of things I know of making potatoes, and heat up meals but they get gross after eating them for like three days. I also come home from work and don't feel like cooking so I just use the microwave. So any recipies. Thanks so much!!! : P

Can i still eat this stuff? Why is it called sushi rice? I read the label and it says that i'm supposed to do all this prep work and clean and cook it just so and warned of doom and gloom if i deviate one kernal from procedure !
