The general rule is that a white wine would go best...Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, or Riesling.

However, the type of fish and the sauces used can make a difference.

There's a great book that makes pairing food and wine easy. This book makes it easy to choose which wine should go with a meal. The book is called What to Drink With What You Eat and I highly recommend it.

Either a Sauvignon Blanc, or an unoaked Chardonnay. New Zealand produces both very good wines. Papio is good.
