Back in the 60's, there was a recipe on the ceral box for cookies using only semi-sweet choc. and butterscotch morsels and peanut butter and the rice krispies. Nothing else. No sugar or corn syrup or butter etc. Would anyone out there have that recipe? I can't remember what ratio to use for the ingredients.I don't want other recipes, just this one please. Thank you.

I heard somewhere that by poking through your roast with a thermometer, you're allowing moisture in the steak to be released.
I tried doing a roast without the thermo, and it actually came out to be more tender than my previous roasts, even though it was cooked to medium well done. I don't know if this is just the cut of the meat or what.

I just had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled, and desperatly want some good food. I've already had enough pudding and ice cream. (Still not sick of Bomb Pops, but...)

Any of you guys have some good ideas? Oh, and while I'm a fairly acomplished cook, I'm on hydrocodeine, so not too complicated would probably be best.

No oatmeal or grits, please.

I was gonna make a risotto for dinner this evening, but i've just discovered that i don't have any arborio rice in the pantry. I do have a pack of short grain pudding rice though. Would this make a viable and suitable alternative?

I just added cold water/cornstarch mixed together to my thin stew in slowcooker. I took a quick taste of the liquid and it's floury. Will that go away or did I just damage my stew?

What website and books can I tell her so she can learn. I told her you a mother now you need to learn how to cook. You have a daughter under 6. Sooner or later she would need to learn. Any websites for novice cook.
Especially how to seasoning food. I did my best and so has other people. We all have lives like most people (working, children, business, school). I told her practice when the daughter is at school. Most people concentrate better when nonone is around.
