What website and books can I tell her so she can learn. I told her you a mother now you need to learn how to cook. You have a daughter under 6. Sooner or later she would need to learn. Any websites for novice cook.
Especially how to seasoning food. I did my best and so has other people. We all have lives like most people (working, children, business, school). I told her practice when the daughter is at school. Most people concentrate better when nonone is around.

On AOL they have Food And Health. Have her click on Food and they provide Kitchen Assisted Recipes. There she can find all kinds of ethnic dishes, holidays, and help with menu planning. The recipes are rated in terms of how they taste and how they are prepared. Most recipes are simple and easy to follow. Have fun!

you should advise her to stay around her own mother or i dont know,a close friend who is a housewife and learn from her.after she sees practice, she should try a cook book and make something in her home.but keep in mind!she has to stay around someone for a few days maybe even a week or two.
