This is an incredible side dish for steak: slice up fresh mushrooms (12 oz. pkg. is good for 2 ppl) and slice up a medium onion; saute in about 1 tablespoon olive or grapeseed oil (that's the healthiest), sprinkle with oregano (or italian seasoning) and seasoned salt. When the veggies start cooking, pour in about a shot glass full of brandy or red wine and continue cooking until the onions and mushrooms are tender. The alcohol will cook off and leave the most amazingly tasty side dish, and it's really impressive!

Congratulations on your anniversary!

Steak is great with potatoes. Try mashed potatoes, baked potatoes or even roasted potatoes. Make a green salad on the side. How about some beans, cream spinach or cream corn. MMMM, sounds yummy.

A couple of spuds (baked/fried/roasted your choice), a nice green salad, and maybe some shrooms sauteed in butter, garlic, thyme, white wine. Maybe some peach cobbler or apple cobbler ala mode for dessert?

You make some baked potatoes or oven roasted potatoes, make a nice tossed salad, make some rolls, and eat. Enjoy....
