My department at work is having a Christmas Potluck luncheon. I can't cook! What kind of dish can I make that would be pleasing to a variety of people (mostly a group of older white guys)?

I live in San Diego and am looking for a creme broulet set for a Christmas gift. It needs to be under $25. Any suggestions on where I might find one? Thank you.

1. Have you made a Disney's Cars birthday cake?
2. Can you give me a yummy recipe that works well with novelty cake tins - I only asume that it'll have to be pretty heavy cake - though I could be wrong (please no packet cakes as I'm in France and will probably not have access to it)
3 Can I make it the day before? And if so, whats the best way to store it overnight.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks in advance
Happy holidays!!

We need help to settle a debate in my family regarding a darling set of new shakers I got for my birthday...
...they are 2 ceramic kitty cats, one is an upright gray tabby cat w/3 holes and the other one is a reclining orange tabby cat w/2 holes. The debate going on in my family is this: Which one is for salt, and which one is for pepper? Can you provide any insight for us?
