I like both because they are "fatter" than chickens. If you are cooking for Christmas dinner, goose is more traditional. if you want something Asian, go with duck.
I like a baked goose with a cherry sauce.

Personally I like both and they each have distinctive unique tastes and flavours. Goose tends to taste a bit stronger and meatier than duck. It is your personal choice but I would not say that one tastes better than the other, they both taste good, only different. You will find more duck recipes and ways of cooking duck than you will goose.

Duck probably tasted better than goose because it's probably closer to a chicken.
Are they farm raised or in the local park?
Skip both. These are for starving Englishmen.
