I've been an allrecipes.com member (and lover!) for a couple of years. Just recently I wanted to submit a recipe, but I must be totally overlooking the link to submit - because I can't find anything! Does anyone know? Thanks!

my man drinks ALOT. he drinks about a fifth of vodka daily. MOST of the time the alcohol dosent affect the household, and the kids NEVER see him trashed. its just sometimes one thing or another eats at him and he wont let it go. now hes getting to the point that he'll start drinking about 4 pm and drink till he passes out, and always wakes up puking. i try to tell him all the drinking is killing him, but he throws in my face that im a smoker, and that is killing me. and to be perfectally honest, if he asked me to quit smoking right now, id say i couldnt, nor do i want to quit. so he gives me the same answer when i mention his drinking. what do i do?

Just about everyone I know loves iced tea or just tea in general, maybe even love it/love to drink it All the time, But I can't help but wonder...

Am I the only one who can't stand its taste and cannot bare to drink it?

I've tried different varies of tea and i'm begining to think tea is just not for me. (But if a tea-drinker/lover comes along, they think i'm crazy. But Really, how can i be the crazy one when thats just gross to me? Therefore, I think to myself, they're the crazy one, not me.)

I used to hate to drink orange juice but i got used to it and love it now, it still has little bitterness -to me- and I only take it a sip at a time but not unbareable to me like it used to be. So I thought I would evently get used to tea but it hasn't happened yet,...so is just me?

I have an 11lb ham with a recipe for a crockpot, only my crock pot is not large enough. Can't I just use my oven at a low temperature to create the same effect? Of course, I realize that I would have to cover the Ham.

I want to make a simple dipping sauce for the shrimp. I need a recipe that does not have horseradish, hot sauce or anything spicy in it or full of salt.

I'm trying to eat more vegetables, but don't like them plain. I've tried putting things such as melted cheese in them, which is pretty good.

Is there anything good to breathe some new life into the same old vegetables?

I have made a stew with beef stew meat, fresh garlic, chopped onion, lots of finely shredded green cabbage, sliced potatoes and beef stock. There's also some chopped parsley. It still needs to be seasoned. Any ideas?

A friend and I are discussing chinese take out while we are eating beef & broccoli we just picked up.

Our question is this...what makes the beef chinese food stores use so tender?

No matter where we get it at, it is always tender and has a unique texture.

Anyone know the reason behind this, or better yet worked in such a place to know the secret?
