Just about everyone I know loves iced tea or just tea in general, maybe even love it/love to drink it All the time, But I can't help but wonder...
Am I the only one who can't stand its taste and cannot bare to drink it?
I've tried different varies of tea and i'm begining to think tea is just not for me. (But if a tea-drinker/lover comes along, they think i'm crazy. But Really, how can i be the crazy one when thats just gross to me? Therefore, I think to myself, they're the crazy one, not me.)
I used to hate to drink orange juice but i got used to it and love it now, it still has little bitterness -to me- and I only take it a sip at a time but not unbareable to me like it used to be. So I thought I would evently get used to tea but it hasn't happened yet,...so is just me?

I am not a big tea person unless it is sweet iced tea...I love that stuff!
I'll get people that think I am crazy when it comes to Dr. Pepper. Around where I live EVERYBODY drinks it, but I can't stand that stuff, and of course they think I'm the crazy one.
It's just some people have different taste buds. I have heard that you can have the same tastes as your mom did when she was pregnant with you. If she didn't drink tea, than you might not either. Tea, at least not iced, isn't really an acquired taste like coffee, so I doubt you will ever really like it.

People's tastes change over time and things that are unpleasant because of flavor, texture or aroma when we are children may become palatable as we grow older. Not everyone likes tea, some don't drink coffee until they are older adults, some drink milk when young but not as adults. Don't worry about it. Try new things as they come along so you don't deprive your self of new good stuff and taste stuff you didn't used to like again from time to time and you may be surprised. Don't be in too big a hurry and in the mean time try your ice water with a slice of lemon or lime when friends are drinking tea instead.

No its not just u....we all have different taste buds and they can change over time....just like how u talked about not liking OJ and now u do. Its the same kind of idea.
If u have a tea drinker come over, u can make them tea and have something else. Your being polite and a good host by providing them something they like to drink, thus its not rude to not join them in drinking it!

Some people just don't like tea. My husband cannot stand the taste and the after-taste of tea. And he's married to this Asian girl!!!!! I love my tea.
He always has to mix his yum-cha with coke or other fizzy drinks. I think that's mad. But, what can you do? I told him it's mad - but he just can't stand it.

some teas are great like the herbal teas that contain no caffiene, try some of them they range in a variety of strawberry to rasberry, mint teas and if you brew them they make your kitchen smell so yummy! regular teas turn me off, its in the taste, so if anyone ask you do you like tea, you will be able to say Yes and mean it. just try.

Not everyone likes tea.
When my dad was young, he didn't like to drink tea, until he started dating my mom. Her mom would fix tea and because he liked mom, he'd drink it (being polite).
He gradually learned to like tea. I don't think it was his favorite drink, but at least he could tolerate it.
