I'll be in napa valley in december. I was wondering if there was a vineyard that allows guests to crush wine with their feet. I know that the harvest season is in September/October, but is december too late in the year? I've heard of the Sonoma harvest festival, but that is also in September.

Does anyone know anything about that game where you use 6 unsharpened pencils to contact spirits. My friends and I tried it before. It works. I am just wondering is it worked for anyone else.

They are in his armpits and around his groin area. The circles are growing bigger and they have a ridge around their edge. It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. It looks like a rash. What is it that he has?

My boyfriend is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat any meat. Today he ate a little piece of fish and I already told him not to do that anymore. However, since he is trying to be vegetarian, that is why I ask this question in this section.

I know fresh is out of the question, but I would like to find some that are not shipped from as far away as south america. Tom Thumb grocery has some but they look like they have been mishandled big time. Also they are real small (dime and nickel size) I'm used to cooking quarter size. Any suggestions??

It seems like a lot of magazines, newspapers, TVs, websites, etc, warn people about false information on the food labels.

I will be serving canned corn for thanksgiving. I would like a way to make it more fancy. I don't want the taste to change. I just want a way to make it look not like I opened a can and put it in a bowl.

I am 21 and just started going out a few months ago but I never know what are the good drinks to get while at the bar. I like fruity drinks or sweet I don't really want to get wine or beer.

What are some of your favorites? (nothing real expensive either would be nice).

Also I like cranberry juice and vodka, any kind of drink similar to that? Thanks

Controversial question here..

Its a food because - It contains vegetables and meats for the most part and is served as a course in a set meal.

Its a drink because - Its liquid

I'm making a cream of tomato soup....and the recipe calls for finely chopped celery rip (which I don't have). Will celery seed suffice? I will ultimately end up blending the entire pot (with the heavy cream). Thanks!

Also, who loves pizza and a chef's salad, along with the
spaghetti? The chef's salad with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and either creamy or regular Italian dressing. The pizza, for me, would be either pepperoni &/or sausage w/cheese. To drink, it would be a soft drink, either coke, dr. pepper, 7 up, sprite or sierra mist. For dessert, it would be anything chocolate.

Basically, I am learning to cook and like to count calories. A bottle of oil has about 22% fat per serving. There are normally many more servings (32?). If you use a bottle or two while deep frying and say I deep fry catfish, how much of that fat goes into what I eat? Should I really care. I know I need to soak up all of that stuff but I usually don't. Have you guys thought about this?

Is it unhealthy to eat food that hasn't been dried off properly? Also, I have the same problem with cooking meat. I never can drain the grease properly and just end up with greasy food.

If I carve the Thanksgiving bird several hours, maybe even half a day, in advance, will the meat dry out? Also, what's the best way to reheat so that it isn't dry?

(Before you point it out - yes, I know I shouldn't even be thinking of carving it in advance. But I am, for my own good reasons - just asking for advice.)

hi, i just opened a small bag of whoppers malted milk balls from Halloween. When i saw it, there were some light brown spots on it. can I still eat it or should I throw it out? also, what causes this? I already ate one of them, so should I be worried? Or am I just putting too much thought into this?
