Fairbanks port wine, made by gallo.
20% alcohol by volume, about 7 bucks for a 1.5 liter magnum and quite sweet.
does the job, but by no stretch of the imagination "good" wine.
Alternately, Christian Brothers port is quite a bit better, sweet, gets you hammered, but runs a bit pricier at about $9 for a 750ml bottle.
Box wine is always fun too. Franzia white zinfandel weighs in at around 11% alcohol, but is everywhere and goes for about $10 for a 5 liter box. Rather sweet, fairly tasty but once again not very good quality.
Hope this helps get you and your buddies hammered, but I would encourage you to be a bit smarter with your alcohol.

I am not big on white wines, more of a red drinker so the 2 I suggest are both reds. Carol Rossi makes a very sweet inexpensive line of wines, the Blush and also the Sangria are really good. Red wine is usually served room temp, but if you chill it it tastes sweeter. Have A happy new years!

Well, cheap wine is never fantastic wine but... I'd recommend Arbor Mist, it comes in lots of fruity flavors, is extremely cheap and really easy to find.

Ripple
Thunderbird
Night Train
Mad Dog 20/20
Blue Nun
Baby Duck (sparkling)
Or ANYTHING else that falls into this category ;););)
But if money is VERY tight - there is always "Chinese Cooking Wine" for about $2 a bottle. It tastes like CRAP, but it's dirt cheap - and available at just about ANY grocery store ;););)

These are a little more winey then the selections you put up... sutter homes and barefoot really not on my list of good tasting wines... cheap yes but not my cup of tea If you like moscato, try asti or a spumante (these are champagnes) but they are very sweet and good! Martini and Rossi Asit is about 9-11$ a bottle Balatore Gran Spumante is about 8-10$ bottle Then there are Rieslings (my favorite they range from sweet to semi-sweet) Pacific Rim sweet Riesling is yummy! that's about 8-10$ bottle For Rose' Balatore Rose' is about 8$ a bottle As for wine coolers when I was a kid I loved them (like 19-21ish) now they give me a stomach ache! So in the summer if I want something semi fruity and easy to drink I go with a cider. Woodchucks hard cider YUM its light and carbonated thats 7$/6pack

ok, if you want to get drunk, don't use wine to do it.
bad wine is the worst the next morning, esp if you get hammered.
go get cheap vodka or something, UV is both cheap, and is actually pretty good quality for instance.

Arbor Mist comes to mind. It's crap wine, but sweet.
Or, for a little fortified action try Night Train.

There's a tonic wine called Buckfast that's very popular among my young friends. It's very sugary and easy to knock back. They have a saying Buckfast gets you F^^ked fast.
