I don't really eat meat. Will eat fish once in a great while, maybe even some chicken. Just not a big meat eater. But having a roomie that SAYS that they are 'vegan' has me wondering just what is acceptable and non offensive to do when they are around.

Suggestions?

About all of the things associated with fish, such as mercury and lead and other contaminants. And also, i assume that this oil is squeezed from raw fish, guts and grime and gross things and all. I'm not too happy about that either. And what about worms and parasites? Can't raw fish be crawling with these things and their eggs? I don't want to swallow any pills that are laiden with lead, mercury, and flukes, and worms !

Ok so everytime I like put a leafy vegetable in my mouth i just vomit like 3 min after that. But I just can't help it they look so yummy and besides they're good for me...So what do I do now? Do you know any vegetable recipes or any vegetables that are like delicious? I can eat fruits but not vegetables why is that?

Sounds like a ridiculous question, but usually pork doesn't have a strong taste. Occasionally, however, I'll cook some pork and it has a noticeably "porky" smell and taste (it's NOT spoiled). Is there a way to get rid of that taste?

I mean would it? As a vegetarian or vegan how much does it matter to you (us)? We gave it up either way..and can live without it just as well (if not better in many cases)...so how much does it really matter? Why is this such an "issue" especially around here? What would it change if we were or weren't supposed to eat it? Not a thing for me. I'm asking this since it does seem to matter alot to vegetarians too...meateaters I get(defend their ways and all) but why would it matter so to a vegetarian/vegan? I don't mean to sound mean...I don't mean it that way at all...I just don't understand I guess...... If it matters to you..why?

After a stressful day at work I need beer, the thing is I only need one or two to calm me down and then I go to bed. So I don't drink much at all, its just the fact that I feel like I need it after work.

I asked for one the other night, and the bartender just told me, "We don't make Vodkatinis here." She didn't say they didn't have the ingredients (and I can't imagine they don't, as there are only two and they're both fairly common, and they make other varieties of Martini), she just said they don't make them. I didn't think to ask why at the time. Any ideas?

My friend and I put an ad out for women that are wanting to meet new friends to come to this upscale bowling alley and so far 30 people have RSVP'd.

We will be there greeting everyone, but we wanted to give everyone something that would be able to let other girls know that they were also from the group. However, we don't really want to do nametags, but if we can't think of anything else we will.

Also it has to be something pretty inexpensive. Any ideas? Thanks!
