This is for our school assignment. Why does food need to be cooked? Why not just eat it raw? I just need the reasons. Please and thanks so much. :)

But I've always wondered...is that true? I mean I did the math is that's 40 drinks. Is that even possible for a human being to handle?..because it takes me a week and a half to drink a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka which on average is about 3 drinks per day, but how do chronic alcoholics manage to drink that whole thing every day and not just die?!

Cattle would supply the largest amount of meat per animal. 1 animal would suffer as opposed to say 50, if it were chickens.

Does that register with vegers or is it irrelevant?

i have a sandwich here. and im muslim and i don't eat pork. i was wondering if the meat in it is ham or turkey, for those of you who eat both. it tastes smokey, so it could be smoked ham or turkey. oscar meyer, perhaps? its very slightly pink...not as pink as ham usually is. but i've seen very light colored ham before. lol. so...any differences in the grain of meat or something?

I have a recipe that calls for grated ginger root....to my suprise I found i had to buy this freaky looking twisty thing in the produce section- and how am i supposed to grate this? Do i have to do anything to it first? How finely should i grate it? Once I've used what i need of it, how can i store it? How long will it last? Please understand I am a novice of all things in the kitchen, so any advice would help me more than you could know. Thanks!

I have one of those cheaper george foreman grill that you can just turn on & off, no settings or anything. It works pretty okay except that every time I use it, it burns the outer layers of whatever I'm cooking while the inside stays uncooked. Like when I cooked salmon today, the top and bottom was burnt but the inside wasn't cooked fully. It happens with chicken or burgers too. How do I stop that from happening? I've tried spraying cooking spray and oil but the food still burns. Any advice?
